Hoses

It was quite a week, last week. It all ended with a water fight. Not just any water fight, but one with two fire trucks, two hydrants, eight hose lines, and eight competitors. What you may (or may not) know is that with a group of fire recruits, every day is for the Stanley Cup. It cost me a mouthful of smooth bore nozzle stream, but we discovered a quick way of cleaning our gear.

There were ample opportunities for pictures, but, alas, I was not able to keep a camera on me and not worry about dousing it with high pressure water or smashing it with the end of a hose line. Application of those skills is the goal of the coming week - Structural Fire Fighting.
