White bluebell

The bluebells have bloomed in the back garden with all this lovely sunshine. The tortoise is on full power and the grass cannot grow fast enough for the enthusiastic guinea pigs.

I worked all day with a couple of garden tea breaks. Around dinnertime, Fred and his dad appeared from their day out in the London sun looking very happy indeed. Beer by the Thames in Greenwich certainly seems to agree with them.

We headed out to the Royal Festival Hall to see "2001: A Space Odyssey" with a live orchestra playing the score. It was fantastic! The choir, especially, were brilliant and really added some menace to those monoliths. When a device that looked very much like an ipad appeared on-screen, it was received with some laughter throughout the audience. This future is already here! We're still nowhere near sending people to Jupiter, though, but it doesn't look too friendly so I think that's OK.
