Moments

Today I had a beautiful moment that made me stop in my tracks.

This Friday was hectic and busy, class, lunch, library, meetings, disappointing test grade...but walking back to my car I saw the first crocuses blooming on campus. For as long as I can remember, I have noticed the day on which the first spring flowers bloomed in my mother's garden. They were always these marvelous yellow, purple, or white flowers rising up through the dead, fallen leaves (just like this!) It's moments like these that remind me of why life is good, and beautiful, and worthwhile.

And all that from a little flower! ;)
