A Fisherman's Hands

A rule taught to us in our documentary photo class, is that we always have to present the truth. The early half of the day was spent talking to and capturing the fishermen. These are the severely calloused hands of one of them. I decided to include my hands in this image to give you an idea how swollen and stiff these man's hands are from pulling the rough and rugged nylon ropes of the fishnets.
