On the Road

I spotted this little beauty on the road, on our way home from a walk into town.
We had an extra free hour, as our daughter was in the gym early preparing for tomorrow's competition. The weather was glorious, so instead of taking the car into town, my husband and I decided to walk.

Butterflies were out in force, but I liked the delicate form of this little one against the rough pavement.

I think I've managed to wash anything in the house that could possibly be washed, so a mountain of ironing was tackled with a glass of red wine to hand to ease the pain.
