Saving my legs.....

Well today has been VERY lovely. It has been so nice this weekend to have mum & daddy home to play with. It's normally just me & mum & to be honest (don't tell her!) but I get a bit bored with her. She is always telling me NO lily or NAUGHTY lily. Daddy is much more fun, he hardly ever tells me no and loves to rough & tumble with me :-)

We didnt get to the beach again,boo, but we did go on a lovely long walk along the cliffs by the sea & around to the Marina at Portishead. I had a good play with my ball & can you believe it but this Husky (with crazy eyes!) came running over to me to play, or so I thought, but instead he ran off with my ball! I couldn't believe it. I stood there looking at him, then looking at mum to see if she was going to tell him off too! In the end his mum told him off & I got it back. I was getting a bit worried that I wouldn't see it again!

Mum took a lovely picture of me standing on my back paws looking out to sea at the boats, which was going to be my blip for today but silly blonde mum deleted it by mistake. She said some rude words when she did. I am not allowed to repeat her.

This picture is of daddy carrying me down some big steps on our walk. I LOVE being carried. Mum said it is because I'm still a baby. I'm not allowed to climb too many steps as it could damage my growing legs. Do you think they will still carry me when I'm a big girl?? I'd like that!

We stopped for a rest on the Marina. Mum & dad had a coffee & I had a bowl of water. Mum was so pleased with me for being so good. I laid by her feet & watched lots of doggies and little people on scooters & bikes go past. I didn't try & chase anyone! I was soooo good mum says we can do it again. I LOVE watching people, especially when they stop & come & give me love because I'm being so good. No one believes mum when she says I can be a naughty girl at home. That's because I'm not naughty mum.....I just know what I want...

Mum did say we might go to Chew Lake one day. I LOVE the sound of Chew Lake. Does that mean there will be lots of things to chew there? I hope so!

My tummy is still a bit poorly. I've been nasty sick again today. I'm still eating fish, rice & all bran. Mum is hoping to mix some doggy type food in with it tomorrow. I wish I could get better. Mum gives me lots of treats for training when I'm well but I can't have treats at the moment so there really is no point in doing clever things is there???!

Settling down on mums lap for cuddles now. That's one thing about mum. She gives the BEST cuddles and always whispers in my ear that she loves me :-)
