Dusty doggie!

Well it's actually been quite an exciting day for a puppy like me today. This is me on my walk this morning. We went to my favourite field & I got to chase mum around a bit. I am getting a bit stubborn on my recall, I pretend not to hear her so that she ends up jumping up & down, waving her arms at me and then she runs in the opposite direction away from me. It's reeeeaaaallly funny. I just sit & watch her, then when she looks like she is really out of breath I will finally give in & run to her. Tee hee. She said we need to work on my recall. I just don't know why I have to go back to mum, of course I want to go home with her but when we are out it is soooooo exciting & there is always something yummy to sniff or eat or some other doggies to run over & see if they want to play. Why should I go back to mum? She does have yummy treats in her magic pocket but they still don't really entice me. Now maybe if she was to have some horse manure in her pocket that would be different????

I met quite a few doggies this morning & I rolled on my back on the dusty path for them (as you can see!) luckily it rained a bit after this so I got washed off!

Then this afternoon mum & I went on a little adventure. She wanted to go to the place called Tesco again, the big one not the one near us. She said that she had doubled up her money & was going to buy a new camera. Oh no, that means more posing for shots I guess! So we went there & I waited in the car. Then we wanted to find somewhere new to walk. We were driving along & I saw a sign that said Severn BEACH.....woof, I said to mum woof woof, BEACH! So we followed the sign to see where it took us.

I must admit I was a little disappointed when we got there. It's not a real beach. Not like Cornwall and I couldn't swim as the tide was out. It was all muddy but it was really quiet & we walked for miles with the wind blowing in our ears. It was lovely. We were right under the Severn bridge crossing. It was HUGE!

Mum has got a real suntan on her face from all our walks. It's really good because mum has been really quite poorly for some time now. She says that I have brought her back to life. That's why she loves me soooooo much.

So now I am snuggling on mum before we have tea, whilst mum is trying to figure out her camera. I think she will be getting lessons from Uncle Shaun when she next sees him :-)

She has told me some good news. Being as Daddy is away with work sooooo much & we haven't seen a lot of him for a while. He is taking next week off & we are going to spend the whole week together. Yippppeeee! Lots of play & walks :-) I CAN'T WAIT.....
