Valentine's Day

Emma tells me that she has dreamt of climbing Arkle in the far north-west of Scotland ever since she read an article about it in a climbing magazine she bought as a teenager. Today her dream came true. Extremely strong winds at sea level dropped dramatically as we gained height, then when we dropped back to Loch Stack at the end of the day we were met by the same fierce winds. I'd recommend Arkle to anyone who wants to feel like they are on the edge of Europe.
