How's this for concise instructions?

In the beginning was a farm, they had eggs, they sold them at the door.
Then came the barn, you went in, chose the number (Multiples of 6 of course), size of egg and paid through a slit in an old sideboard and got out quick so as to neither disturb the swallows nor get shat on.

Next came the thieves, away went the sideboard ... back to the doorstep.

Following this was expansion to a proper business and the faithful few were still welcome at Reception on the "You supported us as we grew, we'll support you now." principal.

Maybe, next visit I'll take a shot over my right shoulder.
