Can this Bee it?

A couple of years ago, I Blipped some Micro-mouse holes. (LINK BROKEN must lead to Polaroid). I never did find out what lurked therein. Today I saw the thing on the right, which obligingly sat on a leaf, and was then kind enough to stay there while I grabbed the camera, returned, held the wind-demented leaf still for a focus and shot it.
On the left, hard by, is what I think may be its abode.
Wouldn't you think in this climate they'd manage a roof?
