Moth...

... I have spent a huge amount of time trying to identify this beautiful moth today!

To no avail.

I haven't done anything to the image apart from a little crop, but the colours are a little brighter than they seemed to me in daylight/sunshine.

I was also (in the five minutes I was able to spend with the camera) quite excited to manage a reasonable capture of a bee-fly. I'll try and put that one on my blipfolio, which is a new and exciting concept to me. (Bless. I should get out more).

I haven't managed any comments in the last day or two. I haven't been quite on my perch. Normal service resumed soon.
