Dobb visits McDobb

We made it! Arrived in Aberdeen at a respectable 6.45pm yesterday, having left Croydon at 6.15am. The kids were brilliant, and the stop for a swim really helped. Five stars for the lifeguards at Penrith - really friendly, even offered to get Chloe and I 'proper' kickboards to do kick drills with.

It was great to see Ben and Diane after all this time, and even better (no offence guys) to see little Amelie early this morning. She is such a sweetie.

Diane had things to do this morning, so the rest of us headed to the beach to meet the rest of the McDobbs, and had a fab time in the glorious sunshine. Even managed to fit in a spot of geocaching.
