Phaeno

Science is not really my thing, but I could see the attractions of it when our group was taken round the Phaeno Science Centre in Wolfsburg.

Everyone was encouraged to go "hands on" with the experiments. My sea legs were severely tested in the tilting house, where floors and objects on the walls were all at weird angles; it was impossible to keep your balance. And, of course, it took us teachers a bit longer to recover from the experience than the kids!

This photo is of a very weird, fast moving, strobe-lit exhibit which had hands coming out of eggs and eating hot dogs........ you had to be there.
