Rambling daily

Day 5

8.5 miles from Tregardock to Port Quinn. A serious walk involving numerous decents and climbs back up...6 to port Gaverne followed by steep climb into Port Isaac and numerous others on 3.3 mile stretch to Port Quinn. Weather today has been very cloudy and last 2 miles in rain...wet clay and slate underfoot is not funny and we both slipped over..fortunately not the cliff! Note to self you do this for fun!

Very nice taxi driver collected us..he has lived within 10 miles of Port Quinn all his life and had never been there..couldn't imagine why anyone would. When asked if he ever walked the coast path he said " are you kidding..I see the state of you lot when I collect you and without fail you are pleased to see me!"
