Urban Jungle
Someone had to take it on. Being a listed building (and a bl**dy huge one at that) it wasn't going to be knocked down, so it was steadily crumble and decline or Urbansplashification. Luckily for Sheffield, it was to be Urbansplashification and now it won't just sit atop the skyline as a monument to the late 50s.
I have to apologise for the slight cheaty-ness of this shot. With only the iPhone for company (camera company I mean, sorry Chris) on my trip, I used the old trick of one shot with aperture set on the sky and another set on the foreground. As luck would have it, I managed to keep the phone fairly still and the images overlaid pretty accurately. And ta-da.
