Happy Birthday Mama

Today is my mums birthday. :D I hope she doesn't see this before 2pm tomorrow because that's when I'm actually giving it to her! It was an absolutele nightmare to decorate - it's a carrot cake inside so I opted for cream cheese frosting but ugh it's awkward to get flat and tidy looking. Next time it's gonna be buttercream, or better yet, royal icing. ;)

I quite like the flowers and butterflies on top though, they came out pretty well. :) Hope she likes it. The scary thing with a full sized cake is that you can't taste it, you just have to hope it doesn't take like poo!!
