A wild day.....

Terry, Lynne and I headed out after lunch over to the west side of the island! For some reason, i really love that side of the island....not that i don't love the east side, with all the drama that Cape Smokey possesses...but i get such a thrill driving thro the Margaree area up to Cheticamp......

from inside the car it was all so lovely, we experienced flurries, sunshine, mist and alternated thro those systems many times....but once we got to Margaree Harbour, and got out of the car....holy shit, cold, biting wind and wild weather! we had to get to the beach....after all one of the missions was beach glass for Lynne and kelp for me.....well, it was so bloody cold i couldn't see anything because of the tears streaming from my eyes!!! We did manage to pick up some glass and some seaweed, not sure it was kelp, at a more protected beach at Cheticamp - then more exploring of the area.

An exciting day, and rounded out with a lovely curried tofu and eggplant dish made by Lynne....a movie and a few glasses of wine.....totally wonderful!!!
