Lids....

This row of lids, for garlic jars i made the other day, caught my eye while i was working away in the studio......just liked the rhythm that the fiddle head knobs created - mind you i did do a bit of straightening up before i took the shot!

Well, it didn't snow today, or last night....in fact it has been the most glorious day here, mostly blue skies and a bit on the cool side, but with the brightness it didn't matter.

Managed to get quite a bit accomplished in the studio....preparing for the next kiln load. I've decided to have an open house for Mother's day weekend (here in Canada and USA it's on the 9th May) so that gives me a tangible goal to head towards. There's a lot to be done - especially around the outside of the studio....the chickens are making one hellova mess at the compost pile....it needs to be moved, maybe they'll spread it around so much that we won't have to do so much work!!!
