Happy Saturdays

A happy Saturday deserved a happy blip, so I couldnt not use Katie and her big cheesy "say cheese" grin!
A group of us mums had organised an Easter fair at the church in the village for this morning. It was lots of fun. I did the baby clothes/toys stalls. We arrived early to help set up and Katie was loving free run of the hall whilst we got sorted. She has had a great time this morning, playing with the toys, coming for cuddles, going off with the other children & parents to do some of the activities, having an explore. It was great. With so many mums, everyone just looked out for everyone elses children; they're so used to all being around each other that they all loved it and just went between different people. She enjoyed doing some biscuit decorating, and returned several times to pinch some more sweets! It was lovely watching her be so confident around everyone, seeing how much she has come on in a relatively short time, and how secure she is with the people we've come to know and love since we moved here.
It was 1.30 by the time we got tidyed and sorted, ready for home. She was eating some lunch and almost fell asleep with it in her hand! After her sleep we met Harrison, Aiden and mummy at the park. We've had a brilliant couple of hours playing. The ducks were coming right up to the children, so we fed them some broken up crackers (all we had suitable for ducks!) and the children stood frantically waving at them. They spent ages watching and following ladybirds, lots of climbing up banks and running down grassy hills. Again, she was so confident going up and down things that recently she wouldnt have considered doing.
A good Saturday for sure.
