The weather has been so bad today that it has been difficult to find a blip.

This a very life-like painting of the view from my sister's house looking down to the next group of crofts called Aultgrishan.

My sister gave this painting to us as a wedding anniversary gift, but I have always felt that she regretted it because, she would love to have it for herself: I don't blame her.

She has this view almost every day and I don't feel a bit guilty for having this in my living room because it reminds me of the view I will see when I go up to Wester Ross at Easter.
