The Mighty Tattie

Today was the first cut of the grass, and the first planting of this years goodies. Well, hopefully. I cleared out the raised bed, pruned, sorted out the hanging baskets and planted the first of the seed potatoes my mum sent us, into our new tattie bags.

Very exciting.

I love growing veg in the garden. The will-it won't-it tension and the sense of achievement when you tuck into your first home-grown meal is difficult to beat.
