The Old Man of Monykebbock

Apparently if you look hard at the main standing stone you can see an old man, looking out to the right, with his long beard and flowing long locks and cloak. Got it? I'm not too sure that I do, but apparently he's there. My wife swears to it!

This is an ancient standing stone at Monykebbock, Newmachar, Aberdeenshire.

I've blipped it before here on an even more dramatic sunset.

Had a fun day of DIY, planting carrots, cauliflower, spinach, rocket, onions and beetroot. Watered the garden. Watched Arsenal, thought Arsenal were going to win, cried at them losing to a goal in the 102nd minute!!
