Bursting to Bloom

Do you remember the Blip on 30th March with the Tree Peony Bud and the story about it flowering on my daughters birthday? - Blip 30-03-11
Well this is how it has progressed since then! This is the same bud. This is also no where near it fully opened either! I reckon tomorrow or Monday it will be open in it's full glory.

The only downside is it's a week too early. My daughters birthday is next Sunday!! Nevermind, there's still another 4-5 buds to open. Maybe one of them will open on her birthday!

The other thing that has just occured to me is that the last time this plant flowered it was in another country!! ;)
