Speech House Woods

We've been exploring the Forest of Dean again this afternoon. First stop was New Fancy View Point. This is one of the best places in the country to see Goshawks apparently. I got very excited at one point when something started flying over but turned out to be a Buzzard!! Stunning views though!

Next stop was Speech House Woods. Beautiful woodland! It was especially nice as we were there late afternoon and the sun coming through the trees made the whole place look very tranquil. I tried to capture it with the Blip photo!! I quite liked the result. It?s got a bit of an ?impressionist? feel about it I think.... or I could be going off on one!! Anyway, the whole woodland floor was a mass of Bluebells, although their only just coming into bud. Planning on going back in a couple of weeks time as I think it?ll be stunning by then.
