Hoops

Semana Santa (a two week holiday centered around Easter) started today and the beaches are full of visitors. Downtown was busy also and must have been hosting some kind of basketball tournament as both courts were in use. The teams had jerseys and both men's and women's games had referees. I was carrying only my little point and shoot camera, but still managed to get a photo of the action, complete with ball in the air, of this hotly contested woman's game on the court next to the beach - which even at this late hour was still filled with people enjoying he water.
