We have had a fantastic day, it was a beautiful drive over to Ballater and a stunning walk around the Loch. We didn't quite manage to cover the whole Loch, but we gave it a good try and the kids were excellent. They even got the chance to paddle their toes in the freezing water! We've come back this evening tired, happy and a wee bit sunburnt (oopsy) and it's only bloomin' April. Twenty degrees in Scotland in April? A picnic at Loch Muick? Does life get any better than this?
