This lone tulip has survived SD's cull of "all things living that I didn't plant in this garden". I loved the colour as it stretched out in the warm afternoon sunshine. We had Dad(D) home from hospital for the day and he stretched out in the sunshine too, and is now looking much more like himself rather than the pale version I collected this morning. A lovely day, chilling together and we're looking forward to getting him home for good very soon.
