surf's up

A fantastic last day in Christchurch. After a cool start, the sun shone all day and we made the most of it. J's mini rugby this morning, first year of tackle and they were making the most of it too! Lyttleton this afternoon, to visit friends of E&R and visit The Time Ball, which they live next door to. Spent ages on the viewing roof watching the various boats and ships coming and going. Back home in time to hit the beach where C had a surfing lesson, which he loved! Oh dear, I can see a gap year looming! Finished with a curry tonight and the Crusaders game on the telly. We've had a the best time, with the best friends, a reminder of why we love these guys so much. Sydney tomorrow, which is exciting, and (maybe) heading home Thursday, volcano allowing!
