Lilac

I love my Lilac tree. It always signals that summer is just round the corner. This year however as with the Bluebells it is very early, it normally seems to flower in early May. I don't think this shot captures its beauty but it is the only shot I took today.

I spent most of the day cooking to restock the food stores in the freezer while daddy ran around outside with the small people. Nanna and Poppa came for tea, much to William's excitement. Now I am sorting out bags and packed lunches for tomorrow as we are heading North to meet another old friend and spend the day at an under ten's theme park. None of us have been there before, so it will be a big adventure.
