Instead of writing my HK blog, I have decided to give this a go. I am inspired by a FB friend of mine who writes one - her photography is much better than mine but for me its more about taking a picture (sometimes in a rush with my iphone) whilst keeping up with my writing. Apparently the rules of blipfoto is that you take the picture on the same day that you publish it - eeek this one was taken yesterday so I'm not sure what happens about that!!! I'm hoping they'll let me off because I'm new and not in the swing of things!!
Anyway the back lane behind our apartment is filled with pink and red bougainvillea which is very pretty, hence the photo.

First day of school holidays today - we have had the pep talk about being best friends in the holidays and working together as a team, no fighting etc etc - that was at 7am this morning - so lets see how the rest of the day goes....
