Easter Holidays
I like school holidays as a rule, I like the fact I don't have to be making sandwiches at 6.30am and walking Jack to the bus stop at 7.20am. I like the fact I don't have to nag to get dressed nag to put on shoes etc etc before I can get Rich out of the door - i mean Jack titter titter!
Unfortunately you have to take the rough with the smooth because in our house school holidays mean more kiddie conflicts which comes with its own stresses. Anyway, Jack and Charlie decided to decorate wooden spoons this morning (this was after they'd run round the house barking, with cereal in bowls pretending it was scooby snacks) and put on a puppet show - all well and good but whats wrong with the TV I mutter to myself!!! I can't pretend that I spend hours playing and creating and baking with my children because I don't, I tend to take them outside and play whilst having a chat to other Mums or watch them doing their various activities. I do enjoy it though, when they decide off their own back to make something with craft or paint or draw and try to make it readily available to them - so that's what they were doing in this picture ... before Jack kicked Charlie and everything went to pot! Time to take them out I think!
Off to the Cinema this lunch time so that should good for a rest, I mean that should be educational and fun!!!! :-)
