Good Start . . .

. . . to the day but it pretty soon deteriorated. The east wind picked up and blew fog and chilly mist over the bay and the village. I cut the grass - first cut of the year, I was shamed into it as everybody else seems to have been cutting theirs! - then Ollie and I had a walk up round the hill, but it was very raw up there.

By the time Postie came home for lunch it was brighter and we ate outside, but then I retreated into the greenhouse and sowed some more seeds. Lovely and cosy in there!

Blipping early as choir rehearsals have recommenced after the Easter break and we'll be out until after 10pm, Yes, it's weird but the school holidays here bear no connection to the actual feast of Easter! The kids are all back at school now and generally are every year!

PS Note the cement mixer - it could easily become part of the scenery, we will be needing it for a while yet!
