Coltsfoot revisited
Yes, we know we have blipped Coltsfoot (Tussilago) before (and even before that...). But the species is simply the essence of early spring, so we can't help falling for it again. Did you know that Coltsfoot is a rather close relative of White Butterbur?
Since spring was late this year, early spring flowers like Coltsfoot and Liverwort (Hepatica nobilis) are flowering at the same time as Windflower (Anemone nemorosa).
