Sunny springtime for mosses
The moss Polytrichum juniperinum looked very healthy and happy in the bright sunlight today. The budlike structures will open and develop into "moss flowers" which contain male sex organs called antheridia.
Luckily these mosses are so short that the strong wind couldn't move them. Most other blip objects were a bit hard to catch today...unless you want a real blur. :-)
One Year Ago: The new veggie garden fence is done!
