the Boss. Summer is now officialy open!

Another beautiful sunny day.

Mr. Shufflebottom....yes that really is his name....has been and repaired the patio doors, and a couple of upstairs windows. I went to see the boys and then into work to catch up on marking and to check a colleagues's coursework marks. Hopefully she'll do the same for me and then we're ready for the exams.

Came home about 3.30. The Boss has been gardening again, the Cherry Blossom has burst out, so has a purple magnolia and all the leaves on our Japanese maples. So the Boss gave an order (or two). See how downtrodden I am!

1. Get the chiminea out of the garage.
2. You're making tea.
3. We're having cheese burgers and hot dogs.
4. Then you can watch the football, while I sit in the evening sun and read.

She'll probably end up knitting something else for the imminent grandchild.

Tomorrow is due to be another scorcher, the Boss wants to do more gardening so I will be mainly.....fishing, from crack of dawn until it gets too hot, too boring if we're not catching or we're too knackered from hauling 'em out.
