Cooking: the books
If I want to know something I look on google. I never reach for a reference book.
The only exception until now has been cooking. Searching for a recipe I always head for our cookery books.
Until this week - when looking for a recipe for mussels while travelling home I searched and found four different ones online, all good.
I may have crossed the Rubicon.
Are the days of leafing through my cook books over? Maybe I'll just read them like works of fiction in future.
This blip is a reflective tribute to some of them as they now are, sitting on the shelves right by our sofa.
