The Metro

Woohoo! Another first time here in Turin!

There's only one line on the metro and I just never needed to travel on it until this evening. It's clean, new and SUPER quick. Probably because there weren't many people at 8:45pm.

I'm seriously not going to consult Turin's transport website again. If I had followed my expert gut feeling (developed from living in cities using public transport), I would not have wasted at least 15min of my 'precious' time standing at a bus stop cursing the system in my head.

They need a new software engineer to fix the route planning function. Period.

To be honest though, it's simply quite difficult to survive here without a car. Should have learnt how to drive at university. What did I do with all the free time back then?

Feeling quite whole after the gym session this afternoon, it's like putting my life back to a normal routine.

Connect group was really fun tonight. It's amazing how much I understand now after learning past tense on Monday. haha.... So glad I'm starting to make friends here! Looking forward to hanging out with them again this weekend :)
