Borage

This is a second blip of Borage, my first was of a late bloom on 22 October last. Their little blue star-shaped flowers and hairy stems never fail to amaze me.

Hair cut this morning - I hadn't been since before Christmas! - and then this afternoon, after nearly falling asleep again and having to get up go inside wash my face in cold water, friends from Lincolnshire on their way to Dorset dropped by for a cup of tea in the garden with their two dogs. The petals are starting to drop from the crab apple tree and every time the wind blew a shower of confetti landed on us!
