Earth Day

It's Earth Day, and we finally had some warm, sunny, spring-like weather.

C and I went to an Earth Day celebration in the beer garden at Boundary Bay Brewery this evening. Several local businesses and non-profit groups had informational booths there. It was hard to choose which one to blip. The logo on the t-shirts tipped the balance in favor of this group from Common Threads Farm. What could be more appropriate on Earth Day?

The mission of Common Threads Farm (founded by Laura Plaut -- in the blue shirt), is to cultivate connections between people, food and community through seed-to-table educational experiences.
