Reasons to visit Thirsk 10

For all you race-goers Thirsk is a great little course. The races are on next week and the town will be full of people all dressed up and gathering in the market place. Next Saturday would have made a good picture, but now you have the details there's time to study the form and be there! I think 10 is a nice round number so will leave my Saturday theme at that.
Another fantastic day here. Fingers crossed this weather is a bonus and we are still going to have Summer later. Bought more bedding plants in the market this morning so back to being on my hands and knees.

PS. re: Butch yesterday. I think he simply has a quirky owner, it is not a charity stunt. He is not in the least concerned by his outfit and appears to accept it in the same way many dogs wear complex harnesses. Having said that, I am not in favour of dressing animals but in this case it's a one off that seems to work.
