Heading North

After a wonderful holiday with the four grandchildren, in amazing weather, time to head home. And summing up the day, the motorway breakfast! At least Wetherby is a reasonable example of Services and the warm sun was still shining.

We arrived home, dodging puddles on flooded roads in torrential rain and with a temperature, under grey-black skies, of 9 degrees! Mercifully, the sun has come out again now, leaving me to think of those Norfolk farmers desperately waiting for extended periods of rain! Piles of mail, loads for the washing machine and no fresh milk! Oh well!
