Fisherfield (day two)
A much darker day today with low cloud and thick haze. We were at the top of A'Mhaighdean by 08:00 and greeted with an amazing view over Fionn Loch and Carnmore far below. On the way up the hill I was sure I had seen an Otter lumbering across the slope at about 2500'. Hard to believe, and Mrs AB was dubious but I am sticking to my guns...
On the way out we had a brew at the bothy of Shenavall over looking the Strath na Sealga. Fortunately the rivers weren't too deep and we got away with only one wade. The rest were boulder hops.
Fisherfield is an amazing place, can't wait to be back.
