Elves bench
Made a ride by bike along the river 'Rotte' to day. In bright sunshine. And a temperature above 25°C! During a break for a highley necessery gulp of sparkling water I placed my bike against an old tree. On the other side of the trunk I saw these Elves benches.
Later this day I learned that the scientific name is Trametis versicolor and it is commonly called "Turkey tail" because of its resemblance to the tail of the wild turkey. In Dutch it is 'Elfenbankje'.
But at the moment I saw them noting of above was on my mind. I cared for a tasty bite and they looked very tasteful to me. Something like fresh baked pizzas ... how far can you drift off reality when it's hot, you're working out and have a great appetite ... :s
