Bodmin Parkway

We expected to arrive from Edinburgh at a windy, edge-of-town, modern staging, and instead discovered that 'parkway' stations can be remote from town and located by a field and with a car-park.

In its Victorian heyday this place bustled as passengers changed to the Padstow train. The branch line is now used part way by the Bodmin & Wenford Steam railway. and the rest of the line is now a walk/cycle-way.
