All art has been contemporary.

All over the world, Saturday morning TV is dedicated to teenagers (I think). Upon seeing a music video of an Italian artist, I youtubed the guy and explored Italian music. The songs are not hard to understand - yey!! Got a playlist of around 10 songs now.

In the afternoon Roberto's cousin Gabriele and his girlfriend Valentina picked me up and we went to the GAM - Galleria Civica D'Arte Moderna e Contemporanea. It's a great modern art gallery with this line on top of the building, "All art has been contemporary." Can't agree more.

I enjoy going to modern art exhibitions. The abstract works are sometimes just too incomprehensible and too funny. It's also really fun to go with people that are a bit nuts. Never miss the opportunity for stupid photos :)

Afterwards, we drove up a hill to Parco Della Maddalena, where there's this statue called Il Faro, with a great panoramic view over Turin. The best part was sitting down at a restaurant having a GIGANTIC ice-cream between the 3 of us. Super yum :)
