Elm

I recently blipped the strange flowerings of an ash tree that I passed on my way to the allotment. When we went up there today I spotted an tree nearby that has the appearance of being covered with fresh green leaves but is actually covered with green flowers. I think they're the female flowers of a wych elm, Ulmus glabra.

We laboured so hard at the allotment that we awarded ourselves choc ices on the way home. They didn't have any dark chocolate ones but I managed to eat one all the same.
