Wild primroses
Happy Easter everyone!
On our way back today we stopped in a lay-by on the A9 through the Cairngorm Mountains (some snow still on the tops) These little primroses were bravely growing amongst the old grass and epitomised the huge numbers we have seen in all parts of the North and Northwest Scotland on all types of terrain. I found this very heartening as they seem to be quite a rarity growing in the wild in Yorkshire.
