Jonquils

A lovely holiday weekend with an easier day today. After a strenuous walk on Friday in Grasmere I was quite glad to have a wander round a local National Trust property today.

There are a lot of shots there wating to be taken when other flowers bloom, but today I particularly liked the swathe of Jonquils in a wild area of the garden. It was very busy today but Chippy and I got permission to go back to do some early-morning shots before the gardens open to the public. That will be nice.

Wearing our Blip T-shirts, we rounded the day off with a visit to a Wildlife Photographer of the Year Exhibition. Some breath-taking shots to inspire us!
