Happy Easter

This is Seamus Whitney from Sli an Chroi in St. Patrick's in Kiltegan. He got Easter greetings from all over the world today while sitting out at his Paschal Fire. He sits with his pipe in his 'office' when you visit facing the big old windows looking out at the beautiful surroundings of this fabulous place. His words are wise and his hugs warm.

The down part of this day certainly has to do with having to drown the poor rabbit that found its way into my house last night. He had mixymotosis and would not have survived. Dying at the claws of my cat or setting him loose in the wild, half blind, would have been too cruel, so I had the task of holding him in a basin of water until he let go. R hung onto me while I did it and counted to 100 until he was gone. We then buried him and committed him to a new life of peace in the ground.

We also managed to assemble a swing chair with a canopy without killing each other, which was an achievement. It has been an interesting Easter Day.
