i love the koi. someday i hope to have a koi pond or little Japanese garden when Leah and I have a house.

so, as you can see, we went to the zoo again today, since it is Easter we figured it would be pretty uncrowded. this, for the most part, was true. and since we are zoo members, it is cheap (free) entertainment; we are broke as shit at the moment so this is good! anyways, there was pretty bunk lighting today on account of the overcast day, yet once again. however, i would have complained if it had been sunny and hot, wouldn't i? i am getting too old for whining.

yes, aging. what a great birthday week this has been! Nikon DSLR came early and everything has just been so much better. Some downs during the week but so, so many ups. i am so grateful for everyone in my life, especially Leah and my family. i love you guys.
